You can delete your Pickleball Event Manager account and its data at any time. You do not need the app installed to make the request.
The fastest route is in the app, and it takes effect immediately:
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It cannot be undone, and we cannot recover the account afterwards.
Email cs@pickleballeventmanager.app from the address you signed up with, asking us to delete your account. We verify that the request comes from the account holder, then delete it and confirm by reply. We respond within 30 days and normally much sooner.
Most players never create an account — joining by QR code is anonymous, and only a display name is recorded against the event.
There is no account to delete in that case. To have your entry removed:
Otherwise the entry is deleted automatically with its event (see below).
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your sign-in credentials and profile | Permanently deleted |
| Email address, username, display name, gender | Permanently deleted |
| Membership tier and plan details | Permanently deleted |
| Events you created, and their players, games and results | Permanently deleted |
| Locally stored data on your device | Removed when you uninstall or clear the app’s data |
Ended events do not linger. An event and everything attached to it — its players, games, scores and results — is automatically and permanently deleted one month after the event ends, unless the organizer has explicitly marked that record to keep.
We may retain a minimal record that a deletion request was made, where we need it to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute. This contains no profile content. Backups are cycled on a rolling basis and any residual copy is overwritten in the normal course.
Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by those stores, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel that in your Apple or Google account settings, or the store will keep billing you.
