These terms govern your use of the Pickleball Event Manager app and website. By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Pickleball Event Manager (“we”, “us”) is operated from Hong Kong. Contact: cs@pickleballeventmanager.app.
Pickleball Event Manager helps organizers run play at a pickleball venue: managing a waiting list, assigning players to courts, rotating partners, running tournament formats, and recording results. Players can join an event by scanning a QR code or entering a join code.
We provide the software. We do not run your events, supervise play, or take any part in what happens on court.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Children may take part in an event as players entered by an organizer or parent. Only a display name is recorded for them.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.
Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
If you create events, you enter other people’s information into the app — at minimum their display name, and optionally gender and skill level.
By doing so you confirm that:
You are also responsible for how you share your event’s join code or QR code. Anyone holding it can view that event’s queue and results.

The app is free to use, with limits on how many events you may create per month and how many courts an event may have. Current limits are shown in the app.
Where paid plans are offered, they are sold only as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those stores take the payment, set the renewal terms and handle refunds — we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you cancel through your Apple or Google account settings, not through us. Deleting your Pickleball Event Manager account does not cancel a store subscription.
We may change plan limits or pricing. Where a change affects a subscription you already hold, we will tell you before it takes effect.
Free accounts may see advertisements. Paid plans do not. See the Privacy Policy for what advertising involves.
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance. The app depends on your device, your network and third-party providers, none of which we control.
Do not rely on the app as the sole record of anything that matters to you. Ended events are deleted automatically one month after they end unless kept — export your results if you need them.
You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process and display it in order to operate the service for you and the people at your events. We do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Pickleball is a physical sport. We are not responsible for injury, disputes, damage to property, or anything else arising from play at an event. Organizers and players are responsible for their own safety and conduct.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your entry of another person’s information without permission.
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing law — do.
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app before taking effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your own country gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
Pickleball Event Manager is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any pickleball governing body, rating system, association or tournament organiser.
